Midsommar is an ancestral summer tradition and an important celebration in Sweden. A flower-decked pole is erected, and people wearing garlands of flowers dance around the pole singing folk songs, sometimes pretending to be frogs! This year, pop-folk singer Eskelina will be joining the fun and keeping us in step and in tune!
Café FIKA and the Affären shop will be selling Swedish specialities all afternoon.
In partnership with IKEA.
- Entrance through the gate at 10 rue Elzévir from 5.30 pm.
- Two dance sessions lasting 20-30 minutes each.
- The traditional singing and dancing will be followed by two contemporary music concerts starting at 7.30 pm.
