Installation: Tex-Re-Mix

Conceived by textile designer Tom Hedqvist and floral designer Gunnar Kaj, the installation Tex-Re-Mix is an affectionate tribute to textiles that have been thrown away but are still of sufficient quality to deserve a second chance.
An antique table with an installation of plants on it, in front of a wall covered with different fabrics.

Tex-Re-Mix is also a tribute to the individual imagination and the ability to look at recycled textiles in a new way: as a collage in a room; as a note in a diary recalling a memory; or as a visual rebus during Paris Design Week 2020 in one of the rooms of the Hôtel de Marle, a 16th century mansion in the Marais whose function has changed over the centuries and which has been home to the Institut Suédois in Paris since 1971.

In partnership with Paris Design Week.
