Showcase: Moa Lignell

Moa Lignell made her break in 2012 when she was just 18 years old, composing, writing, playing and singing her own pop/folk songs. After numerous tours in Scandinavia, she offers us a showcase with guitar and vocals.

After three albums in English (Different Path, Ladies’ Man and Oh Daughters), Moa Lignell has set a new course and returns to her native Swedish, which until now she had reserved for the singers she writes for—Melissa Horn and Sonja AldĂ©n.

“I feel as if I lay myself bare in Swedish, which scared me at first, but when I got over that feeling the result seemed better to me”, she explains.

At the Institut Suédois, she will be performing her latest EP Det lilla vemodet, as well as some key songs from her repertoire.
