Andrew Erdos is an American contemporary artist and glassblower. His practice focuses on sculpture, design and new media. The artist works around notions of natural phenomena and the sublime. The four elements – earth, air, fire and water – are a fundamental part of her creative process. His unique pieces combine ancestral and contemporary glassmaking techniques, reflecting both nature and the industrial world. His works are in the collections of several museums in the US (Museum of Art and Design in New York, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, New Britain Museum of American Art, among others) and at Mobilier National in Paris.
