Drawing from examples of the urban landscape in the dynamic city of Malmö in southern Sweden and other cities engaged in innovative projects, we will be exploring the impact of nearby environment on our lives. Which approaches, processes and methods make it possible to create spaces that are more sustainable, attractive and safe, and which embrace a wider range of social groups? How and when should different professions, local stakeholders and users be involved?
The day-long discussion brings together representatives of the city of Malmö, which is well known for its innovative projects designed to facilitate integration and equality, and comparable project managers in France.
