FĂȘte de la musique: Midsommar + Isabel Sörling in concert

We invite you into our garden for a dual celebration of summer and music! The programme includes traditional Midsommar singing and dancing and an enthralling concert by Isabel Sörling.
Photo taken in the garden of the Institut suédois, with people dancing around the Midsummer flowered mast.

Midsommar is an age-old tradition in Sweden. A flower-decked pole is erected, and revellers dance and sing around it. Why not put a flower garland on your head and join in the fun!

The festivities continue with a concert by songwriter and musician Isabel Sörling, who navigates freely between improvisation, folk and avant-garde music. She’ll be performing her latest critically acclaimed album Mareld, which takes its inspiration from traditional African music.

Swedish specialities available all day at our market stalls!
