Nordic countries at the AngoulĂȘme International Comics festival

Once again this year, four Nordic countries will be represented at the AngoulĂȘme International Comics festival: Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden will be reunited under the same banner to show the span and the diversity of contemporary Nordic creation. The 45th edition of this international festival will be an occasion to show the wealth of styles and genres created on these septentrional horizons.

What’s on: meet artists from the North during book signing sessions, witness who champions as the new Nordic talent for comics, hear talks and panels

For professionals, Friday 26 January will start with a breakfast with a presentation of the latest publications to international editors and will end with the traditional Scandinavian cocktail at 7pm.
