Parcours Bijoux: Woodland

For "Parcours Bijoux", a three-yearly event focusing on contemporary art jewellery, we are organising two group exhibitions. “Woodland” brings together 6 Swedish artists around the subject of the forest as both a wellspring of resources and the home of ancestral myths.

Telling stories of biodiversity, forestry, folk beliefs, carbon sinks, bones, moss, leaves, berries, moose, mosquitoes are 6 artistes from the “land of forests”. Sofia Bankeström, Åsa Elmstam, Petronella Eriksson, Catarina Hällzon, Therese Johansson and Lena Lindahl are artists from very different backgrounds and with very different styles, but they share a heartfelt commitment to the environment. Through the art jewellery they create and the materials they choose, shape and assemble, they tell stories that make us think.
