In a polyphony of languages and narratives, this poetry evening explores boundaries – geographical, cultural and personal – and celebrates the richness of hybrid identities. The poems read offer a sensitive critique of Western rationalism as the only truth.
How do we express ourselves when we come from different worlds? How can we transform traumatic experiences into poetic creation? How can we turn diversity into strength, migration into melody?

- Linnea Axelsson
Born in 1980 into a Sami family in the extreme north of Sweden, Linnea Axelsson is a poet, novelist and art historian. She made a remarkable debut in literature with the publication of her first work, Ædnan (French translation by Rachel Erdmann for Éditions Paulsen), which was awarded the August Prize in 2018. - Athena Farrokhzad
Born in 1983 in Tehran, Athena Farrokhzad grew up in Gothenburg, Sweden. She is a poet, playwright, translator and literary critic. She has published several collections of poems, including: Vitsvit (2013), Trado (2016), I rörelse (2019) and Åsnans år (2022). White Blight, Jennifer Hayashida’s English translation of Vitsvit, was published by Argos Books in 2015. French editions of Vitsvit and Brev till Europa (trans. Jean-Baptiste Coursaud) are to be published by L’Arche Éditeur in 2027. - Noah Truong
Noah Truong was born and lives in Paris. A poet, he organises and participates in open stage events. Manuel pour changer de corps is his first published work (Cambourakis). With this text, he was one of five finalists for the Prix de la Poésie in 2022. - Olivia Tapiero
Born in Montreal, Olivia Tapiero is a writer, translator, musician and performer. She is the author of several novels, including Les Murs (VLB Éditeur), which won the Prix Robert-Cliche in 2009, and Rien du Tout (Éditions Mémoire d’encrier), which was a finalist for the Grand Prix du Livre de Montréal and for the Prix Littéraires du Gouverneur Général in 2021. Un Carré de Poussière (Éditions du Commun) is her fifth book. - Héloïse Brézillon and the Collectif Broohaha
Héloïse Brézillon is an author and researcher. Her work combines poetry, theory and science fiction. In 2018, with Margot Ferrera, she created Mange Tes Mots, a poetic space to pause and reflect during open-mic events, writing workshops and a podcast. T3M (Éditions du Commun) is her first book.
Broohaha is a collective and studio that seeks to put sound at the centre of interactive, living works.
Moderated by Ginkgo (Héloïse Brezillon) and Galatée (Margot Ferrera) of the Mange Tes Mots collective.
The evening has been devised with Juliette Rousseau, author and publisher, and Kholod Saghir, translator and founder of the Uppsala International Literature Festival.
