Showroom – Emerging talents – Beckmans College of Design Stockholm

Then it’s the turn of Beckmans College of Design Stockholm to organise its sixth showroom during Paris Fashion Week. This is not only intended to be a platform showcasing graduate collections, but is also an opportunity to look at the designers’ portfolios. While working on their collections, the fashion students followed a complete design process and explored all the facets of the profession: from research to formulating a concept to making the clothes. The pieces illustrate what they want to express as designers and the ways in which they wish to contribute to the world of fashion.

This year’s fashion design graduates address the challenges of today’s society, for example  by adopting constructive approaches to sustainability. Experimental practices are at the heart of their work.

On 1 October at 5 pm, there will be an opportunity to meet fashion designers from Beckmans College of Design Stockholm in the showroom. A festive late opening will be going on until 9:30 pm, by invitation only (see below).
