Everything began when Beatrice Alemagna started to draw empty playgrounds. Then lockdown emptied the streets and her drawings of parks were filled with children. This strangely powerful images came to the attention of the great writer Sara Stridsberg, who wrote a text inspired by them. From their interactions arose a gently melancholic, whimsical book to which we devoted an exhibition last year. The journey contuinues today with this special reading with musical accompaniment and drawing, featuring Beatrice Alemagna (drawings), Fredrika Stahl (vocals and keyboard), and Maëva Le Berre (cello).
In collaboration with La Partie and the Maison de la Poésie. Part of the Paris en toutes lettres festival.
