Visions Nordiques – French Nordic Film Days

A new festival of Franco-Nordic film is born. Its aim is to spark interest in Nordic art cinema and to create opportunities for collaboration between French and Nordic film professionals.

The public programme comprises 17 films screened at Le Grand Action (5th arrondissement), several of which are being presented for the first time in France. The sessions are followed by discussions with directors, actors and producers.

Focus on the Swedish films

The professional days consist of seminars, round tables, and meetings between Nordic and French film professionals and take place at the Institut suédois and the French National Center for Cinema (CNC).


Visions Nordiques – French Nordic Film Days was initiated by The Five Nordics, the French National Centre of Cinema (CNC), Institut suĂ©dois (Swedish Institute Paris) in collaboration with Institut français de Suède and with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Embassies of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in France. The artistic direction has been designed and is spearheaded by Swedish arthouse producer and distributor Mattias Nohrborg, TriArt Film, Baptiste PĂ©pin, head of film, Institut suĂ©dois, and Amanda Nohrborg, post production manager.
