“I like to see and experience as much as I can of dance performances, workshops, art exhibitions and life on the streets, gain new perspectives in my artistry. The stay is an opportunity for me to have my own time to dive deep into all the dance art that is created in Paris and the surrounding area. Hopefully, I will make new contacts with other practitioners, expand my contact areas with different scenes and institutions and share my work. Spend valuable time on my own, getting inspired!”

“I am an artist that creates through the lens of motion, emotion and, hopefully, change. Inspired by life and the way we live and interact with the world. I aim to inspire and touch audiences’ hearts by creating poetic and eclectic works in dance and circus, fused with distinct art forms. I have lately produced 3 shows in Sweden since 2019. But my international professional experience started in 2004. Health and longevity are my focus as a pedagogue. Educating generations on self-care.”
“While in Paris I will visit spaces, venues and artists to gain insights and inspiration for my work All in my head. A dance & circus solo about the human brain and its psychology. Neurology and emotions will be researched in relation to physical practices and how it affects the body. Due to the rise in psychological issues, this project aims to inspire and assist youth in navigating emotions and conflicts. I aim to look for long term collaborations and to increase my Swedish work’s visibility.”
Kristina Sjögren Kristell

I am currently finishing a second novel about Queen Christina, and working on a coffee table book about Ă–land writers and ölandish literature.”
“In the beginning of 2025 I will be starting up a third historical novel about Queen Christina. She travelled to France twice and after that she kept in contact with King Louis XIV and the people around him for the rest of her life, so I will do some research in Paris.”
Sofia Warkander
Ph.D. Candidate in Literature
03.02.2025 – 16.02.2025
“I am a Ph.D. candidate at Stockholm University. My research analyzes four prose works by Marie-Madeleine de Lafayette and Marie-Catherine Desjardins (Madame de Villedieu), and particularly how these female authors’ depiction of female protagonists uses irony, cross-dressing, and other devices of deception to write subversive depictions of female political agency. The aim of my project is to reevaluate the complexity of these works, and subsequently nuance the writing of French literary canon.”
“I am nearing the end of my dissertation writing, and after having had my final seminar at Stockholm University in December, I am eager to implement some suggested revisions. While in Paris, I will be focusing on finishing my dissertation.”
Lina Wolff
Writer and translator
04.02.2025 – 02.03.2025
“I am a Swedish novelist and translator. All my novels are translated to English and some of them to French, most recently The Devils´ Grip, La prise du diable (2023). I also work as a translator from the Spanish and have translated among other works Gabriel GarcĂa Márquez’s One hundred years of solitude and several of Roberto Bolaño’s and CĂ©sar Aira’s works into Swedish. I live in the south of Sweden.”
“I will make an attempt to change genre and write a story which I have been thinking about for a long time now. It is an historic fantasy fiction, and it is set in the seventh, eighteenth and nineteenth century. It embraces a turbulent part of the European history and the plot includes wars, revolutions and witch burnings. The protagonist is a Swedish man who migrates to France. I have written some hundred pages and I plan to make regular visits to Versailles where part of the story takes place.”
