Markus Emilsson
Artist and exhibition curator
02.09.2025 – 30.09.2025

“I’m a freelance curator and glass artist based in Växjö, SmĂĄland. Trained as a glassblower, I combine deep craft knowledge with a strong interest in material culture and its relational aspects. I balance my own artistic work—sculptures, projects, and everyday objects—with curatorial assignments. Previously, I was guest curator at Växjö Konsthall an befor that I led exhibitions and artistic development at The Glass Factory in Boda.”

“In spring 2025, I was commissioned to curate a Swedish contemporary glass exhibition for the Swedish Institute in Paris. It will be on view during Paris Design Week, from September 3 to 21. While in Paris, I’ll lead guided tours for the public, press, and special guests. On September 11, we’ll host a special event with a pop-up hot shop in the institute’s garden—don’t miss it!”

Axel Landström & Victor Isaksson Pitti
Designers
03.09.2025 – 30.09.2025

“Lab La Bla is not a practice of form but a practice of practicing. Unlike traditional crafts where one masters specific materials or forms, they have mastered a working method. Every project is guided by the desire to hack and challenge traditional processes with their makers. The Lab La Bla portfolio is connected through approach and personality rather than form. Freedom and curiosity are structural components in their work.”

“We are developing new glass pieces together with Lamberts Glas in Germany, a historic mouth-blown glass studio with work in Sainte-Chapelle and Notre-Dame. The project investigates traditional manufacturing techniques and the role of glass in architecture and design. In Paris, we explore its historical presence through visits to archives, studios, and buildings, combining material research with on-site study.”

Fredrik Nielsen
Artist, Glassblower
03.09.2025 – 30.09.2025

“Fredrik Nielsen (b. 1977) is the poster boy of cool rebellion, rocking an attitude that makes Swedish contemporary glass beat with a pulse. Stimulated by aspects of popular culture, Nielsen assimilates graffiti, music, videos and performance within his practice as a glass artist creating a form of kitsch that is continuously experimental. Improvisation has fueled his inspiration for pushing the material boundaries of glass beyond something banal.” – Anne Klontz, Independent Curator

“Coming for a show at Institut suĂ©dois, here to work with glass and maybe for a proiject with French Agnesb.”

Love Persson
Product designer
18.09.2025 – 28.09.2025

“Hi, my name is Love Persson and I recently graduated from Beckmans College of Design. Over the past few years, my focus has been furniture design within the field of woodworking. I work in an exploratory and emotion-driven way with form and function, where craftsmanship, materiality, and storytelling are at the core. I’m interested in how furniture can create atmospheres, evoke emotions, and communicate beyond the visual.”

“My stay in Paris is thanks to Svenskt Tenn, who awarded me a scholarship for my graduation project, which explored opposites as a design principle. Two tables with weight concentrated at the top created a sense of imbalance, and chairs with identical forms but different materials examined how material choices affect emotional expression. The project is an interpretation of my mother’s graduation work and our rediscovered relationship, where opposites such as comfort and discomfort wove together a story about heritage, identity, and creation.”

Carl Michael von Hausswolff
Composer/Visual Artist/Curator
03.09.2025 – 30.09.2025

“Since the end of the 70s, von Hausswolff has worked as a composer using recording technology as his main instrument and as a visual artist using light projections, film/video and still photography as well as other media. His projects are basically conceptual. He is also a curator.”

“Together with Paris based artist Martin Bakero I will continue working with a project that uses the Majorcan mystic Ramon Llull’s work as a base. We will examine libraries in Paris where Llull’s writings reside.”
