The Company – what’s your story?
Svensk Form Väst (the Swedish Society of Crafts and Design in Western Sweden) is a regional association within Svensk Form and aims to strengthen and promote the design-field in the region, at home and abroad. Svensk Form is a not-for-profit membership association. Our vision is a better life through good design. Increasing knowledge about the benefits of good design to the development of society has been the key theme throughout the history of Svensk Form.
The product
Svensk Form Väst invites you to the “Small Gallery” and to take part in the diverse world of design from the western part of Sweden. An exhibition showing furniture and textile design, lighting and product design, sculptures and new innovative materials.
You will meet objects of established designers side by side with the work of freshly graduated professionals. We have invited a group of designers which in their own curious, poetic and innovative ways reflect the craftsmanship, industry, nature and optimism of western Sweden. They will reveal their own personal stories of the work and thoughts behind the objects, what have inspired them and how they hope to inspire you to take part in shaping a sustainable future for us all.
