Admission to exhibitions and most events is free, except when specified on our Event page (link to more information).

Many of our public spaces are accessible to visitors with disabilities, and we have accessible toilets. We also provide devices for hearing-impaired and sight-impaired visitors.

Pushchairs are welcome into the temporary exhibitions. They can also be parked in designated areas in the courtyard and garden.

It is not possible to make reservations on the phone.

You are welcome to visit our garden during opening days and hours. It is accessible via our entrance at 11 rue Payenne – see our Event page (link to more information) for details.

During certain temporary exhibitions, access to the garden is unfortunately not possible.

We offer daily guided tours during opening hours, usually in French. However, you can ask the receptionist if the guided tour can be conducted in English.

Our spaces are not available for private hire.

No, the books from the former Institut suédois library have been transferred to the Bibliothèque Nordique, 6 rue Valette 75005 Paris, where you’ll find a wide selection of Scandinavian books.

Visit Sweden does not have offices open to the pubic in France. You’ll find a wealth of information and advice on travel in Sweden at: visitsweden.fr

There is a Nordic bookshop in the Belleville area in the northern part of Paris, Bokbar, where you can buy books in Swedish as well as translated into French.
