Eva, Thomas and their children go on a skiing holiday in the French Alps. While the family is having lunch in the sunshine at a restaurant high in the mountains, an avalanche changes everything… Because of the father’s reaction, cracks appear in the couple’s relationship, the family unit collapses and friendships are torn apart.
Snow Therapy was awarded the jury prize at the Cannes Festival in 2014 and represented Sweden at the Oscars.
Three years later, in 2017, Ruben Östlund was awarded the Palme d’Or for his film The Square.
