L’Art Norén: Lars Norén season

Lars Norén was “perhaps the greatest playwright and poet of our times” according to Éric Ruf, chief administrator of the Comédie-Française. Two years after his death, we pay a tribute to the Swedish writer and playwright with an exhibition and several events focusing on his work.

In the 150 or so plays, collections of poetry, novels and diaries that make up his Ĺ“uvre, Lars NorĂ©n (1944-2021) has constantly explored the darkest and most terrifying depths of the human soul, always with a touch of humour. Until the Summer, Institut suĂ©dois, ComĂ©die-Française, Arche – Éditeur & Agence théâtrale and Les GĂ©meaux, Scène nationale are showing an exhibition and various events to explore the plawright’s Ĺ“uvre as well as its multiple echoes in contemporary theatre.
